Our story
Founded as a quiet rebellion against the algorithm.
LUMÉA began in 2024 in a small Zagreb studio — a meeting of three friends who, between them, had spent twenty years editing, formulating and teaching beauty. The idea was simple: build the shop and the school we kept failing to find.
We refused the format of the modern beauty marketplace — endless shelves, opaque sourcing, education reduced to thirty-second clips. We wanted something with the weight of a magazine, the rigour of an atelier, and the warmth of a member's library.
